Growth and development of garlic (Allium sativum) cv. Creole Pink



Agronomia Colombiana 15(1): 76-81



In a trial at the Tibaitata Research Centre, Colombia, in 1991, the growth phases of garlic Creole Pink were identified as planting and and emergence; growth of sterile leaves and pseudostems; fertile leaves; maximum growth; bulb filling and commercial maturity. The main accumulation of dry matter took place in the little bulbs or "teeth", followed by the leaves.
