High yield and high return cultural technology with plastic house vegetables and late rice cropping

In trials in 1995-96 early vegetables grown under plastic followed by late rice were compared with early rice followed by late rice. The early vegetable crop yields were 3.62 t/0.067 ha for aubergines, 4.05 t for tomatoes and 3.47 t for sweet peppers while late rice yielded 590.6 kg.
