The combined effect of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki (Dipel) and certain botanical insecticides on growth, feeding and nutritional efficiency of Helicoverpa armigera was investigated in the laboratory at 27+or-1 degrees C, LD 14:10 and 75% RH. The antifeedant activity of neem oil and Vitex negundo leaf extract was greater than that of Pongamia oil. However, growth was severely inhibited by Pongamia oil.
