Incidence of Cercospora leaf spot disease of mulberry (Morus alba L.) in Upper Brahmaputra Valley (Assam)

A survey on the incidence of Cercospora leaf spot disease of mulberry (Morus alba) was conducted during three crop seasons (May-June, August-September and February-March) in Upper Assam, India. The survey showed that the incidence of leaf spot disease caused by Cercospora moricola was maximum (58.31% infection with 16.23 PDI during August-September and minimum (9.77% infection with 3.27 PDI) during May-June.
