Field experiments were conducted on a sandy loam (Ultic Haplustalf) during 1989-92, in Bihar, India, on Allahabad Safeda guava trees supplied with 0-800 g N, 0-349 g P and 0-482 g K/tree. An increase in N rate significantly increased leaf N and K contents, but decreased P and Cu contents. Leaf Ca content increased with N rate up to 500 g but decreased at higher N rates. Increasing P rate significantly increased leaf N, P and K contents.
