Intake and apparent and total absorption of inorganic macroelements (Ca, P, Mg, K and Na) in Holstein calves fed diets with different levels of forage

Intake and apparent and total absorption of inorganic macroelements (Ca, P, Mg, K and Na) in Holstein calves fed diets with different levels of forage

Revista Brasileira de Zootecnia 28(1): 178-184

The effects of different levels of forage in the diet on intake and apparent absorption of Ca, P, Mg, K and Na. 35 pure Holstein bull calves, 60 days old, initial average weight 78 kg, were allotted in a completely randomized experimental design with 9 replicates per diet, except for the 10% forage diet, with 8 replicates.
