Inter- and intrapopulation genetic variances after ten cycles of reciprocal full-sib recurrent selection in the BS10 and BS11 synthetic maize populations

Inter- and intrapopulation genetic variances after ten cycles of reciprocal full-sib recurrent selection in the BS10 and BS11 synthetic maize populations

Maydica 44(1): 9-24

The objectives of this study were to determine the genetic variation among full-sib families for the original and tenth cycle of reciprocal recurrent full-sib selection for the inter- and intra-populations of the BS10 and BS11 maize (Zea mays) populations, to evaluate the six population frequency distributions, and to estimate correlations between traits before and after selection.
