Abstract
Monocrotophos sprayed at 1000 ml/ha at the boot leaf stage, reduced the white tip incidence and grain chaffiness, and increased the yield of rice in field experiments. Phosphamidon, malathion, neem oil [Azadirachta indica] and copper oxychloride were also tested and were effective to a lesser degree.
