Modelling the farm tractor/tractor driver system

Tractor drivers are exposed to vibrations generated by the engine, equipment attached to the tractor, and collisions with obstacles. Kinematic analysis shows that operators of tractors without trailers or attachments are exposed primarily to vibrations which are vertical and lateral relative to the direction of tractor motion.
