New formulation technology for mixtures of phenmedipham, desmedipham and ethofumesate for weed control in sugarbeet

The development of a new oily emulsifiable concentrate formulation of phenmedipham, desmedipham and ethofumesate, Betanal ProgressReg. OF, is described. The results are summarized of experiments conducted to investigate the physical properties (retention, spreading and uptake) of the herbicide using Galium aparine, Polygonum persicaria and Chenopodium album, and their significance in the activity of the formulation is discussed.
