Penetration of the subterranean termite Coptotermes curvignathus Holmgren (isoptera: rhinotermitidae) into various size of sand particles

Penetration of the subterranean termite Coptotermes curvignathus Holmgren (isoptera: rhinotermitidae) into various size of sand particles

Buletin Penelitian Hasil Hutan 16(2): 93-99

A laboratory experiment was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of sized-sand particles for preventing the infestation by the subterranean termite Coptotermes curvignathus. The sand particles were used as a barrier to prevent the termite from reaching a wood block. Termites from two colonies were employed for the tests.
