A total of 19 female buffaloes, 4-10 months old, were vaccinated s.c. with the standard dose of B. abortus vaccine. Jugular venous blood samples were collected before vaccination, and monthly for a 10-month period. Antibody levels were determined using the tube agglutination and mercaptoethanol tests. The antibody curves were similar to those produced in cattle.
