Phenotype analysis of Picea obovata in the southern Urals: population structure



Lesovedenie ( 6): 37-49



Nineteen quantitative features of the cones, scales and seeds of Picea obovata were studied on 36 sample plots in the South Urals. On this basis four morphologically distinct local populations were identified: (1) high montane, (2) central montane, (3) plateau-foothills, and (4) Fore-Urals plains-hills.
