A study was carried out to determine polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDD), polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDF) and coplanar polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) in human milk in the Ukraine. Samples of milk were obtained from 200 women from the cities of Kyiv and Dniprodzerzhinsk. The samples were combined into 4 pools by city and age, and analysed for 7 PCDD, 10 PCDF and 2 coplanar PCB (126 and 169).
