Rape and mustard residues were utilized alone and in combination with rice straw (3:1, 1:1 and 1:3 W/W/ mixtures) for sporophore production of P. sajor-caju. Yields were highest (925 g) on the 1:1 mixture. Fruiting bodies were initiated 18-22 days after spawning. The average number and weight of sporophores produced per kg of substrate was 85-114 and 8-9.2 g, respectively.
