Productivity of Santa Rosa plum trees in response to triacontanol

Productivity of Santa Rosa plum trees in response to triacontanol

Journal of Interacademicia 2(3): 124-129

Triacontanol in its pure crystalline form as well as its two commercial formulations were used in foliar sprays at concentrations of 2.5, 5.0, 7.5 and 10.0 ppm at the pit hardening stage in Santa Rosa plums in consecutive years. All the forms of triacontanol increased the weight and volume of the fruits. Triacontanol at different concentrations also improved fruit retention in the subsequent year and current season shoot growth.
