Protein biosynthesis in plant treated with O-(2-methyl-2-aminopropyl)-N-cyclohexyl carbamate ester

Protein biosynthesis in plant treated with O-(2-methyl-2-aminopropyl)-N-cyclohexyl carbamate ester

Roczniki Nauk Rolniczych Seria E, Ochrona Roslin 25(1/2): 137-140

A possible mode of action of carbamate herbicides is an indirect effect on the synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins. The unidirectional electrophoresis method was used to determine qualitative and quantitative changes in the composition of protein fractions in acellular extracts of Avena sativa and Sinapis alba exposed to carbamate herbicides.
