Rapid separation of bovine whey proteins by membrane convective liquid chromatography, perfusion chromatography, continuous bed chromatography, and capillary electrophoresis

Rapid separation of bovine whey proteins by membrane convective liquid chromatography, perfusion chromatography, continuous bed chromatography, and capillary electrophoresis

Lait 78(4): 391-400

Membrane convective liquid chromatography (MCLC), based on porous cellulose membranes (using an ion-exchange membrane connected to a fast protein liquid chromatography (FPLC) system), was used for the rapid separation of whey proteins and compared to separations using ion-exchange perfusion chromatography (IEPC), continuous bed chromatography (CBC) or capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE).
