Research on the plant density of maize on a reddish brown soil at Moara Domneasca-Ilfov

125 de ani 1869-1994 Lucrarile sesiunii stiintifice "Tehnologii moderne in cultura plantelor de camp" 20-21101994: 336-342

In 1984-90, 3 maize cultivars from FAO group 200 were grown at 30 000 to 100 000 plants/ha. Grain yields decreased from 4.02 t/ha to 3.05 t (at 90 000 plants/ha) in Fulvia and from 4.49 t to 2.69 t (at 100 000 plants/ha) in Fundulea 420. A sowing rate of 30 000 seeds was recommended.
