The effect of 3 sowing dates (optimum and 2 and 4 weeks after the optimum time) on yield and its components was studied at Puawy in 8 new winter wheat cultivars and lines in a 3-year field experiment (1994-96). Two groups of genotypes responding differently to sowing date were identified.
