Response of sorghum to nitrogen and phosphorus fertilization on medium black soils

Sorghum GJ-37 grown at Junagadh, Gujarat in 1989 was given 0-120 kg N and 0-60 kg P2O5/ha. Grain yield increased from 0.60 t/ha without N to 1.90 t with 120 kg N/ha, and was highest with 20 kg P2O5.
