The usage of Anastatus sp. to control Tessaratoma papillosa was investigated. Anastatus sp. overwintered as adults and mature larvae in the field in China. Adults of Anastatus sp. possessed low cold tolerance. Some adults died at 3 degrees C after 2-4 days, but one-fifth of them were still alive after a further 10 days. The optimal temperature for adult emergence was 30-32 degrees C.
