Abstract
Body weight at slaughter, warm carcass weight and liver weight differed significantly among the 4 breed types, but there were no significant differences in respect of carcass measurements, the weights of skin, head, lungs and heart, chilled carcass weight, and the weights of meat and fat in the carcass. Bone percentages of the carcass and its parts tended to be lower in crossbreds than in Holsteins.
