Some efficiency indicators of Charollais sheep reared in a system of mixed grazing with cattle

Charollais ewes were allowed to graze with cows and growth of young animals, liveweight of ewes and fertility of the flock were evaluated in 3 grazing seasons during 1995-1997. Average daily gain of lambs from birth until weaning was 0.218+or-0.06 kg in 1995, 0.251+or-0.05 kg in 1996 and 0.265+or-0.07 kg in 1997.
