Some quantitative and qualitative effects on green gram stored under conditions of different initial grain moisture contents, storage periods and storage containers

Green gram seeds at 8, 12 and 16% moisture content were stored for up to 180 days in polythene or jute bags. Moisture contents, insect (Callosobruchus chinensis) damage, seed weight, protein content and nitrogen solubility index are tabulated.
