Sorption of aldicarb sulfoxide by samples of some calcareous soils from Turkey
The sorption of aldicarb and aldicarb sulfoxide was investigated spectrophotometrically on 16 soil samples. Ten were from the Cukurova region of Turkey. The results showed that organic matter was the only soil property which correlated with aldicarb sorption. Clay minerals were important but their effect was masked by fine carbonates and organic matter.
