Studies on character association in turmeric

Developments in plantation crops research Proceedings of the 12th Symposium on Plantation Crops, PLACROSYM XII, Kottayam, India, 27-29 November 1996: 54-57
Studies on character association in turmeric
Studies on multiple correlation between yield and other attributes of 10 turmeric (Curcuma longa) cultivars revealed that fresh rhizome yield had a positive and non-significant correlation with plant height, petiole length and leaf area in trials in 1991. In 1992, yield was positive and significantly correlated with plant height, leaves/clump, leaf area and petiole length.
