Two infected plants of P. mahaleb (Pm1 and Pm2) were used for studying the seed transmission of prune dwarf ilarvirus (PDV). Seeds were collected in 1995 and 1996 and tested by DASI-ELISA with monoclonal antibodies raised against a P. mahaleb isolate of PDV (PDV-11).
