Faecal samples and gastrointestinal contents were examined from animals in 3 sheep and 3 goat flocks. The nematodes identified are listed in tables. The species found most often in sheep were: (in the abomasum) Teladorsagia circumcincta, T. pinnata, T. trifurcata, and Trichostrongylus axei (in the small intestine) Bunostomum trigonocephalum and Nematodirus spathiger, (in the large intestine) Chabertia ovina, and (in the caecum) Trichuris ovis.
