The effect of nitrogen fertilizer rates and application times with different sowing rates on yield and yield components of wheat in Samsun ecological conditions

In field trials in 1990-92, bread wheat Cumhuriyet-75 and Marmara-86, which are adapted to Samsun ecological conditions, were sown at 400, 500, 600 or 700 seed/msuperscript 2 and given 0, 60, 120, 180 or 240 kg N/ha at sowing, in equal split doses at sowing and during tillering, or during tillering.
