The resistant level of the housefly, Musca domestica L. to several insecticides from various localities in Korea

Samples of 12 M. domestica populations were collected from animal farms in South Korea in 1996, and kept in the laboratory to determine their susceptibilities to different types of insecticides, such as organophosphates (OPs), pyrethroids and insect growth regulators (IGRs). The adulticides were tested by topical bioassay in all 12 populations; the larvicides were studied via treated larval medium in 8 populations. The data were expressed as LD50 and LC50 values.
