Towards a recognizable cultural identity of Croatian tourism

Tourism and Hospitality Management 3(1): 33-44

The first half of this article examines and discusses the changing nature of tourism, the relationship between tourism and culture and the growth of cultural tourism. In the second section, it considers ways in which culture and cultural heritage could contribute to the process of tourism revival and re-development in Croatia, and to the development of a recognizable cultural identity.
