Variability in morphological and yield characters of turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) cultivars

Eighteen new genotypes of turmeric and 2 standard varieties were evaluated at the Agricultural Research Station, K.Digraj, Sangli during 1985-88. Significant variability was observed for plant height, umber of leaves, length and breadth of leaf, number of tillers and fresh yield of turmeric.
