A consideration relating to expanding possibility for regional marketing of vegetables

The expansion of regional marketing for vegetables in Tottori Prefecture, Japan is considered Based on a survey of 25 farmers' markets. The results indicate: (1) the number of farmers' markets wherein the sales value has increased or remained the same, is over 60%, and the markets wherein the future sales value has increased account for over 30%; and (2) membership of these markets is flexible.
