A forward looking dairy: UK dairy Tanners Foods trebles UHT production

This article features the recent expansion of the UHT liquid milk plant of Tanner Foods Ltd (Essex, UK), a family-owned business. As a result of a <pounds>3 million investment programme, and acquisition of an established competitor, annual production capacity has trebled to >100 million litres, and the company has become the largest single-site producer of long-life milk in the UK.
