A study of karyotype on Caryopteris paniculata



Acta Botanica Yunnanica 23(3): 328-330



In the present paper, the karyotype of Caryopteris paniculata is investigated. The somatic chromosome number is 2n=18 and the basic number is x=9. Its karyotype could be formulated as 2n=2x=18=6m+2sm+1st. The ratio between the longest and shortest chromosome is 3.74.
