A study on a model for a geographical epidemic of Chinese fir sterile seeds
Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) is the most important fast-growing and high-yielding tree species in southern China, and occupies a very significant position in Chinese plantation management. However, the rate of occurrence of sterile seeds in Chinese fir is high (rates are given for 25 counties in Fujian Province), which seriously affects production and development of the species.
