A study on optimized cutting growing media for Taxus chinensis var. mairei

In studies in China, suitable growing media were studied for promoting the rooting rate of cuttings of T. chinensis var. mairei Four major media constituents (including loess soil and perlite) were selected and 15 test media developed from these using various combinations and amounts of the 4 constituents. The experiments were divided into 2 groups, one using long cuttings (8 cm) and the other short cuttings (5 cm).
