A study on phytoplanktonic composition produced by fertilizers in warm water fish culture ponds

Phytoplankton communities as a result of fertilizer runoff into fish culture ponds were determined over 7 months. All external factors were the same, with the exception of the nutrients derived from fertilizers. Ponds were divided into three treatments with three replications. The treatments were classified based on the amount of N:P ratio. The variations in the quality and quantity of phytoplankton were studied in 15 day intervals.
