Agrobacterium tumefaciens mediated transformation of kiwifruit with Lfy cDNA

A genetic transformation system for kiwifruit was set up using transformation with Lfy cDNA which is useful for enhancing early fruit set. The putative transformants were obtained by co-cultivation of kiwi leaf-discs with Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain LBA4404.
