Agronomic efficiency of sulphur fertilisers and its effect on seed yield and chemical composition of soybean in black clay soil under rainfed conditions

An experiment was conducted in Madhya Pradesh, India for 2 consecutive years to evaluate the impact of sulfur, applied from 3 sources (single superphosphate (SSP, 12% S), pyrite (22% S) and gypsum (18% S)) and at 4 levels (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg/ha), on the productivity, chemical composition and uptake of nutrients by rainfed soyabean (cv. JS 71-05) grown on black clay soils.
