Serological relationships among four members of sugarcane mosaic potyvirus subgroup are discussed. Based on the intensity of serological reactions, the strains of sugarcane mosaic, maize dwarf mosaic, johnsongrass mosaic and sorghum mosaic virus were logically placed in different groups and subgroups.
