Association analysis of seed yield and its components in fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.)

Correlation and path analysis were studied in a population of 15 genotypes of fenugreek (T. foenum-graecum). The plants were sown in West Bengal, India during the winter season of 1998-99. Pods per plant, grains per pod, straw yield, biological yield and harvest index showed significantly positive correlations with grain yield per plant at both genotypic and phenotypic levels.
