Attachment of Pasteuria penetrans spores to the cuticle of Meloidogyne javanica was studied after the application of leaf extracts of Azadirachta indica, Calotropis procera, Datura stramonium, Tagetes minuta and Ricinus communis in pot experiments. D. stramonium reduced spore attachment. Other leaf extracts were statistically similar in spore attachment. Different concentrations of the extracts responded differently.
