Bioremediation of petroleum polluted soil and upgradation of its fertility status by earthworm-compost biofertilizer

Journal of Agriculture Technology and Education 4(2): 39-46

This study indicates the enormous capacity of cassava peel vermicompost biofertilizer (biofert) to mediate fast bioremediation and restoration of petroleum polluted soil and subsequently the upgradation, of its fertility status in potted experiment as was reflected by germination, growth of sorghum and soyabean, soil CEC and available P (av P). The study site is in Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria.
