In a feeding trial lasting 140 days, 10 male Sudanese camel (Camelus dromedarius) calves aged 24-30 months old and weighing 376.2+or-42.21 kg and 10 Baladi cattle steers aged 15-18 months old and weighing 275.1+or-30.20 kg were used to investigate the growth performance of the two species in stall feeding. Animals of both species were housed in two shaded stables with steel fences to allow individual feeding.
