Comparison of the immune protective effect of adult worm soluble antigen and excretory-secretory antigen of Trichinella spiralis on mice

Comparison of the immune protective effect of adult worm soluble antigen and excretory-secretory antigen of Trichinella spiralis on mice

Chinese Journal of Zoonoses 15(5): 6-8

The protective effect in mice of 2 Trichinella spiralis antigens, adult worm soluble antigen (AWAg) and adult worm excretory-secretory antigen (AESAg) (obtained from worms from infected rats) was compared. Mice were immunized 3 times at one-week intervals, and one week after the final immunization each mouse was challenged with 100 T. spiralis infective muscle larvae.
