Eighty-one Indian mustard genotypes were evaluated for the magnitude of association between their quantitative characters in an experiment in Karnataka, India. The number of siliquae, number of secondary branches, number of primary branches, seeds per siliqua and plant height were highly associated with seed yield. The number of siliquae had the highest direct effect on seed yield, followed by 1000-seed weight, number of primary branches per plant and plant height.
