Croatian medicinal plants containing coumarin derivatives

Due to its geographical position and diverse climate, soil, and topography, Croatia has an equally diverse and extremely rich medicinal flora, which has not been fully investigated and utilized, except in folk medicine. Previous studies of medicinal and related flora in Croatia, have indicated that many plant species contain coumarin, furocoumarin, and their derivatives. This article describes the Croatian plants containing coumarin and furocoumarin derivatives.
