Diseases with relevance to protection of animals using examples of the musculoskeletal system of dogs

, : Diseases with relevance to protection of animals using examples of the musculoskeletal system of dogs. Deutsche Tierarztliche Wochenschrift 107(3): 99-103

The information system "Inherited Diseases of the Musculoskeletal System of Dogs" was developed to cover published knowledge on aetiology, pathogenesis, appearance, therapy and genetics of these diseases. This information system can be used by students as a learning programme to understand the basic relationships among animal protection, diseases, and breeding. Support for breeding decisions as well as for interpretation of breeding values and genotype are available.
